The Grange brings together the character of a traditional countryside estate and the comforts of modern living. Set in the peaceful Scottish countryside near Edinburgh, it offers generous space, considered interiors and exceptional leisure facilities, making it a place to slow down, spend time together and enjoy a stay with a little more to it.
Ground Floor
The ground floor features a living room, a separate dining room, a spacious kitchen with dining area, and a cosy snug. There is also a double bedroom, a separate toilet and a bathroom.

Basement Level
The basement is where the fun really begins. Here, you’ll find the indoor swimming pool, hot tub, gym, sauna, changing room, playroom and dedicated cinema room - plenty to keep everyone entertained, whatever the weather.

First Floor
Upstairs, you’ll find five bedrooms, including a master bedroom with a king-size bed and its own nursery with a cot. Two further double bedrooms each have an en-suite, while another double bedroom is served by the family bathroom. The final bedroom features two double beds separated by a partition wall, along with its own en-suite.

Outside
The generous grounds offer space to get outside and enjoy a little friendly competition, with a playing pitch suitable for football and racket games. There is also ample private parking.
Set in Heriot, in the Scottish countryside just outside Edinburgh, The Grange offers space to slow down and enjoy time together, with the city still within easy reach.

Spend your days exploring the surrounding countryside, discovering the Scottish Borders or heading into Edinburgh for shopping, restaurants and a change of scene. Whether you’re planning a family getaway or a few days away with friends, The Grange makes a spacious and well-equipped base to return to at the end of the day.

Dogs: Up to two dogs are welcome, at an additional charge of £50 per dog.

Quiet hours: 10pm–8am. These hours must be respected to help protect the surrounding environment and ensure we remain considerate of our neighbours.

Parties and celebrations: The Grange is not available for parties, celebrations, hen dos or stag dos. We ask all guests to respect this policy and the peaceful nature of the property and its surroundings.

"The Grange is an insane place to stay! As soon as you drive up to the gate you feel like royalty and the house matches that feeling! We’ve just spent a weekend with family celebrating a special birthday and it was just perfect, plenty of space, plenty of rooms, plenty of beds and plenty of things to do. The cinema room was such a treat and the pool was just awesome for family time. Plus, there’s not one but two hot tubs! A private chef was recommended to us and we booked chef Scott and chef Liam for our Saturday evening meal and we absolutely couldn’t fault it, it felt so special. "We had a lovely stay with the family and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The host was fantastic, communicated really well throughout and was very accommodating with our requests.
The property was immaculately clean and beautifully presented. We were welcomed by the lovely Lauren, who was incredibly friendly and flexible when we were delayed on our drive up, which we really appreciated.

"We have just finished an awesome 2 week stay at The Grange Estate. Each area of the Estate inside and outside is beautifully designed and furnished to the highest standards. It is extremely spacious, we were a group of 11 and never did we feel crowded! The place is a real hidden gem!
The amenities were outstanding, the pool is amazing and the outdoor hot tub was a true highlight! The cinema room was an added bonus for adults and kids!
The hosts are extremely responsive and helpful and David the estate manager was always available to help!
A fabulous stay and we hope to return in the future!"
